Challenge
One challenge was to rank and keep top positions in search engines for a certain set of search queries – such as “free lawyer for car accident” while building a simple niche site that is also easy to update. The site also had to be connected to Google AdSense and allow some earnings from the ads. The site also had to provide a way for visitors to post comments or answers. The main goal it is anyway to have the website listed on the first page in Google, Bing, or yahoo for the desired search terms.
Solution
I designed the site structure around the content for this website. I chose to build the website using PHP and my own CSS framework because of the speed and search engine friendliness that my framework provides. Moreover, I knew that my CSS framework provides robust responsive design as is taking the mobile-first approach. Regarding content, I used Google Trends and Google AdWords along some other tools to find most profitable related keywords. Done articles for each of these related keywords and designed the site internal structure and links to leverage all search resources available for any specific query. The site is still on the first page in Google for most of the wanted search queries, and more than that, some queries are on positions 1 (first place) or even 0!
