Challenge
ESUK was looking for a solid system to manage both the employed staff and the clients in the same time. Also, as the company is placing workforce in different locations across the globe (such as Europe and Asia) staff tracking, payment notifications and location were very important for further planning and placements. Moreover, online access to documents such as client invoices or plans was required, and therefore security was paramount.
Solution
I created the brand and the website with simplicity and usability in mind on one side, and with enhanced security for users and storage on the other side. I created three categories of website users for ESUK: admin staff, employed staff and clients – all of them being able to access their own space on the server, to upload necessary files, documents, to view available jobs or registered users by case. Clients can post new jobs and requests while related admin staff can answer and allocate the right people for the right job. I created the platform from scratch in PHP and MySQL because I had the freedom to choose the technology I want to use. I was using Bootstrap for the front-end as required by the client.
